Patna Metro is now catching up with the pace of its work [Patna Metro News] : Planning for Corridor 1 with Corridor 2 is underway. The work of this corridor is also being discussed by the city development department. Construction work will now begin on the way from Danapur to Saguna Diversion, reaching Mithapur and Khemnikchak.
The removal of street lights has been requested by the agency for this. After the removal of the street lights, the construction of the elevated metro will start in this route. The light will then be shifted accordingly. It is known that the soil of this root has also been investigated. Now construction work will start. Elevated Metro construction process will begin after the removal of the light.
Work begins on 22 September!
Nitish Kumar inaugurated the construction work of Patna Metro on 22 September last year. 13365.77 crore was approved by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs on the proposal of Patna Metro Rail Project.
The Bihar government and the central government will allocate 20-20% of the project cost and the remaining 60% will be loaned from the Japanese agency Jayca.
Root upwards from Malahipakri
Work has been started on a priority basis in the Corridor 2 of the metro. Seven stations are ground inside this corridor, while five stations will be elevated. Elevated stations will start from Rajendra Nagar in Corridor 2 going from Patna Junction to ISBT. The 1st elevated station of this route will be Malahipakri.
Further, elevated stations are to be built up to Khemneechak, Bhootnath Road, Zeromile and Pataliputra ISBT. The same junction point of the first corridor and the second corridor will be at Khemnichak. There will be facility to change route here. Tender for laying gas tracks in New ISBT area of Patna Metro has been processed. A tender has been issued by the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation for laying and testing the encircled track as well as for the complete commissioning of the truck. It will cost an amount of 17.97crores. Must be completed in 2 years. Also, after the tender of many projects, the companies have been allotted.
Work has started for six stations!
Work is also being done by DMRCL for construction of corridor 2 of the metro. In addition to the construction of the ground ram inside Rajendra Nagar, DMRC will construct the underground metro station near Rajendra Nagar Moinul Haq Stadium Patna, University, PMCH Gandhi Maidan and All India Radio. The cost of this project is ₹ 1951 cr. The project is to be completed in 42 months. Tender has already been finalized for the construction of the line from Malahi Pakdi to ISBT. The same work is going on.
