Patna Metro News : The construction work is going on very fast in many areas of the city regarding Patna Metro. For both the corridors of the Metro, excavation is being done at about a dozen points for the construction of Peel and Route. In the first phase, out of the 32.5 km long route of Patna Metro selected, 14 km route is to be made elevated i.e. above the road. Presently the construction work is going on at these places only. After this work will start on about 18.5 km route with underground route. Patna station for Patna Metro. Khemnichak will have two important stops. Trains can be changed from these interchange stations. A total of 26 stations will be built on both the routes of Patna Metro. Of these, 13 stations will be elevated while 13 stations will be underground.

NOC from the departments completed
At present, aerial survey, topographical survey, traffic volume survey for Patna Metro and geotechnical work for both the corridors has been completed. Along with this, NOC has been received from the Road Construction Department in March 2021 regarding the roadside route. The concerned department has also given NOC regarding the station at Zero Mile Mithapur, Danapur and Saguna Mor. Environmental impact assessment and social impact assessment have also been completed. The process of land acquisition is in progress.
Land acquisition is to be done for Patna Metro Depot
The land for Patna Metro Depot is to be acquired near ISBT Baria. In this regard, notification is to be issued at the level of Patna district administration. As soon as the notification is issued in a day or two, the area and area of the land to be acquired will be decided. Then the land acquisition process will be started by paying compensation on the lining of the administration. The Urban Development and Housing Department has already allocated Rs 1000 crore to Patna district administration for the proposed 76 acres of land for Patna Metro depot.
Different agencies have to be engaged for Patna Metro. For example, the work of making the route is being done by a different agency. The responsibility of separate agencies will be given for station construction at 26 places. Apart from this, the Patna Metro Authority will have its own sports power system regarding the operation of the metro. Tender in this regard has also been issued. For this, the agency is to be selected by the nodal agency Delhi Metro this month.
