Construction of Patna Metro started on Bhootnath Road: Patna Metro will gain momentum after the green signal of the Ministry of Defense and NHAI (एनएचएआई).The construction of Patna Metro is almost complete,But the Ministry of Defense and NHAI approval are yet to be done.However, preparatory Patna Metro work has been started on Bhootnath Road by the agency selected for civil construction.

Patna Metro Rail Corporation has written to the Ministry of Defense and NHAI to expedite the work.Construction work of Patna Metro Corridor 1 is commencing from Danapur. The construction of the same Corridor 2 is to be on the bypass, from Malahi Pakri to Zero Miles. Elevated Metro will be constructed at both the places. According to the Metro officials, the work will be started after getting the NOC from the Ministry of Defense and NHAI.

When asked in this regard, NHAI Regional Officer Chandan Vats said that there is a continuous jam from Zero Miles to Shitla Mata Temple. In view of this, there is a churn on the structure work at the draft turn. There will be a meeting with the officials of Patna Railway Corporation and Mercury Co. Further strategy will be decided in this meeting.

The corridor 1 will be from Danapur to Khemnichak : In which Danapur, Saguna Mod, RPS, Pataliputra Junction will be elevated. The same Ruknpura, Raja Bazar Patna Zoo, Vikas Bhawan, Vidyut Bhavan, Patna Junction, Mithapur, Ram krishnanagar, Jaganpura, Khemni kchak station will be Under ground.

Corridor 2 Patna Junction to ISBT: Patna Junction, Aakashwani, Gandhi Maidan, PMCH, Patna University, Moinul Haq Stadium Rajendra Nagar station will be under ground. The same Malahi Pakdi, Khemneechak, Bhootnath Road, zero miles, New ISBT station will be elevated.

The grid substation will be completed by 2022: A grid sub-station will be constructed at two places at a cost of Rs 222 crore to supply electricity to Patna Metro. Its capacity will be 132/33. This includes Mithapur and New ISBT. A budget of 42.5 crores is approved for both these grid substations. But due to the actual expenditure being 222 crores, 180 crores will have to be given to the state government. Once the money is approved, the Bihar State Power Transmission Company will start work. It aims to complete construction by 2022.

Interchange station to be built in Khemnik: Interchange station will be built at Khemnik.That is, cars of Corridor 1 and Corridor 2 will be found here.From here, one can swap the other route.
